Up for Auction is this 1966 Mustang Fastback !

This Mustang has had a lot of time and money invested into it !

This fastback would make a great foundation for a Shelby tribute, restomod or weekend track car !

Body: This car is 100% Rust Free ! This Mustang spent most of its life in Texas therefore, The only panels replaced on the car were: Installed a one piece floorpan professionally done and looks Great from top and bottom. both quarter panels have had partial skins installed. The finish body work needs to be done on them. The drivers side door has some bondo in it. I would just replace the outer skin with a new door skin. Otherwise, the car has a few other minor dings and paint scratches. Honestly, I would just repaint the whole car in order to make it look really good. Maybe add the Shelby hood or side scoops and some Lemans stripes. All the stainless trim, chrome and glass is in good shape. This Mustang IS an original Fastback and not some converted coupe or 2 cars welded together or anything like that.

Interior: Very comfortable Corbeau racing seats. G-Force Racing seat belt / harness bolted to roll cage. When you are buckled into this car your not going anywhere ! All new AutoMeter phantom guages. 6 Point rollcage installed. Currently there is no rear seat, otherwise all the rear fiberglass panels are there including the trap door into the trunk. Great stereo system with a Kenwood CD player and 2 amps in the trunk.

Mechanicals: The engine is a professionally built 302 that is stroked to 331 cubic inches, balanced rotating assbly, Solid roller cam, Edelbrock Alum. heads, Edelbrock Rpm Air Gap intake manifold w/ Hi Perf. Demon Carb. MSD 6AL Ignition box, MSD Distributor, ceramic coated headers. Billet pulleys, electric fan, Northern high capacity Alum. radiator , Milodon Deep sump oil pan. and Matching Edelbrock Elite Valve covers and air cleaner. There is $8,500 just spent on this alone. There has only been 1,200 miles on the car since this since all of this was installed.

- 3 inch stainless dual exhaust, sounds great !

- 5spd manual transmission with Hydraulic clutch and Scattershield for added safety.

- All new front and rear suspension lowered 1 inch upper control arms just like Shelby did. Gas shocks, 620# lowering springs 1 inch and larger swaybar. Lowered rear and traction bars. Subframe connectors welded in. This car drives nothing like a factory stock 66 Mustang after all these upgrades.

- Brakes have been upgraded to disc brakes up front and dual now has a dual master cylinder. The car stops great now!

- 16" late model Mustang wheels with 225/50/ 16 Kumho tires low miles.
