Hi all,
I'm listing my 66 Mustang restomod. It has been my daily driver for a few months now, but I need to get something with better gas mileage for going to college next year.
The car was converted from an inline 6 and 3 speed, to a late model (1990) 5.0L(302) with EFI, T5, and a 8.8 rear end. The T5 is shifted by a Steeda Tri-ax shifter and custom shift knob. The front was converted to V8 suspension with a CSRP kit for disc brakes, including steering components. The upper control arms were modified per the Shelby/Arning drop template. The coils are 600 pound 1-inch lowering coils. The rear end was converted to 5-lug to match the front and has disc brakes. There are KYB shocks up front, and Monroe SensaTracs (coilovers) in the rear. The wheels are 17x8 late model wheels, wrapped in Nitto NT555 tires.
The engine is all stock, with a custom air intake to fit the car, plus Hedman Hustler headers. The headers go through 2.5" glasspacks, which are dumped under the rear seats. The fuel pump is a 255LPH Vortec T-Rex unit (I had planned to add boost later on). Overall, the engine runs very well. The EFI makes it so reliable and it is a joy to drive everyday.
The interior is mostly new, and the dash and doors have fresh paint. The seats will need to be replaced/repaired. The radio has been updated to a modern digital unit with Kenwood speakers in the dash and kickpanels. The quarter panels and floor pans were replaced prior to the paint job.
The car also has an Eleanor upper and lower nose; GT350 hood and side scoops, and a California Special style trunk deck lid. There is some cracking in the paint, chips in a few areas, and there are some runs. It's not perfect, but it is very acceptable for a daily driver.
There are probably many other modifications that I've failed to mention, but I hit the big points. Please pm me, email tiger1dd@gmail.com, or call/text (803)-537-2114 for any questions or inquiries. I'm asking $18,000.
Thank you,
Dave
