1965 Mustang A-code Coupe, Vintage Burgundy, Restomod / Track Prepped.

Very nice, built to handle and go fast with modern components; track-capable suspension using only top quality stuff!

I have too many projects and this car never gets driven like it should so time to let someone else have at it!

(All components listed are NEW unless otherwise stated. I have only about 250 miles on this car since everything was put together. As you can see from the pics, the parts still look new!)

Engine:
Rebuilt 289, bored .030” over, about 20K miles, ARP main studs and head studs
Trick FlowTwisted Wedge 170cc aluminum heads, milled for 10:1 compression
Trick Flow 1.6 roller rocker arms with 7/16” studs
Trick Flow chromoly hardened push rods
Hydraulic roller conversion ( Howard’s link bar lifters)
Comp Cams XE 266 HR hydraulic roller cam (Advertised Duration 266/274, Lift .544/.555)
Ford Racing Double Roller Timing Chain
New water pump, fuel pump
New standard volume blueprinted race oil pump ( by Precision Oil Pumps )
Holley #4150 600 cfm Double Pumper carb with manual choke, manual secondary
Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake with ½” carburetor spacer
Mallory Unilite centrifugal advance distributor with aggressive re-curve
Hedman Long Tube headers 1 5/8” primaries, 3” collector.
Magnaflow 2.5” X-pipe with dual Magnaflow mufflers
Estimated 350+ Horsepower. Pulls hard and revs like a motor bike!

17x8 Vintage Wheel Works V40 rims
255/40-17 Continental DW tires

Front Suspension:
Street or Track Front Coilover conversion with adjustable A arms, adjustable strut rods, Bilstein race valved shocks (Street or Track Front Bilstein Coilover System )
Shelby drop
Bigger 1970 front spindle conversion with bigger bearings for track use
13” Cobra brake conversion (using Mustang Steve’s kit)
Street or Track Billet strut tower export braces
1” front swaybar with poly bushings.

Steering:
Steeroids power steering rack and pinion conversion kit with TILT column ; quick ratio 2.5 turns lock-to-lock
Saginaw Power Steering pump upgrade

Rear Suspension:
Maier Racing 165 Race leaf springs 1.25" drop with poly bushings
Maier Racing Panhard bar
Bilstein rear shocks with race valving

Drivetrain:
T5 Z spec Super Duty 5 speed conversion ( has higher 330 ft/lb capacity, more than T5 World Class )
First Gear Ratio: 2.95:1
Second Gear Ratio: 1.94:1
Third Gear Ratio: 1.34:1
Fourth Gear Ratio: 1.00:1
Fifth Gear Ratio: 0.63:1

Hydraulic clutch conversion using Modern Driveline kit
Spec Stage 2 clutch
Fidanza lightened aluminum flywheel
8” rear end with Detroit Locker
3.80 gears (Motive brand)
Custom Aluminum 3” diameter lightweight drive shaft
