1965 Ford Mustang Shelby Clone
What do you think is wrong with this car? It was for sale 9 days ago for $30k, then went to $25k a day later and now it's $15k?
probably a tired restoration at this point. I dont see the detail work for a 30 thousand dollar car. Interior looks tired, wrapped steering wheel generally means its cracked, engine compartment dirty. 15 is probably a more reasonable price for it. Of course Im biased. Whenever I see a clone all I see is the cost of putting it back to the way it is supposed to be, so I discount from there.
Could be its just in average condition or less and the owner NEEDS the $$$$. Could be from out of state and rusty coulf be about to blow up could be a good deal.
That's not even a poorly done Shelby clone. The stripes are the only thing that lean toward a Shelby clone. But now if it's a true rust free Az. car it's worth the money. It could easly be taken back to original.
They were probably trying to capitalize on the auctions going on in the area and hoping to find someone who'd pony up the original asking price. Now they're back to reality...
I thought about going and looking at it, but I refuse to since I still have a project in my garage. Hopefully something is around like that when I'm done with my 67.
