Default 1967 Shelby Fiberglass .......... Original

What is the best way to find the current value on authentic Shelby fiberglass?

to make a long story short, I recently pick up a 67 fastback that was converted into a Shelby clone. The guy I bought it from says it had original Shelby fiberglass. He told me, a few owners back, back in the day these parts came off a real 67 Shelby that was involved in an accident. I had no way to varify since the parts were on the car, and was going to buy the car anyway. But when I got it home , I carefully removed all the parts, took many many pictures and sent them to a Shelby expert (i have not got his permission to post his name publicly yet) , and sure enough these are AUTHENTIC SHELBY PARTS!

Parts I have are :
Hood (judging by the cut out for A/C clearance looks like GT500)
Nose
Nose Support
Outboard Grill
Lower grill (apparently from an inboard car, wrong mesh)
Fender headlight brackets and buckets
Outboard light brackets and buckets
Extended bumper brackets (was told possibly aftermarket)
Trunk lid and end caps (i was told this deck lid and at least 1 end cap are from a 68)
I also have 1968 15" Shelby hub caps , Kelsey Hayes 15x6 steel wheels (wrong date code K29) and a 68 Shelby GT500 Wood Shift knob with the snake.

I will be selling everything listed above very soon, but wanted to get as much info and get more of the parts varified so I can list them acurately. Also dont want to list them too cheap or too expensive.
Any advice is greatly appreciated

I could only post 10 pics here, but have many many detailed pics of each part, and will forward them to anyone whod like to see them, just send me a PM with a direct email address.

update:

Based upon the replies and information ive been getting,
I have more detailed information regarding the authenticity of these parts:

Original 67 Shelby GT500 Early style Hood
Original 67 Shelby Nose
Original 68 Shelby Trunk lid
1 original 67 Shelby end cap
1 original 68 Shelby end cap
Original 67 Shelby nose support bracket
Original 67 Shelby grill for outboard lights
Aftermarket fender headlight brackets
Aftermarket light brackets for outboard grill area
4 original headlight buckets (60 Galaxie?)
Aftermarket extended bumper brackets
Original Lower grill (but for an inboard light car)
4 Original 68 Shelby 15" hub caps (used)
Original 68 Shelby wood shift knob with snake
4 Kelsey Hayes 15x6 steel wheels . they have a small chrysler logo on the barrell, and date codes K29 9 6 60 so apparently not an original ford wheel but a Chrysler wheel. the logo can only be seen when the tire is off the wheel, on the barrell

more info to come stay tuned

here are pics of the wheels as requested.
check your PM i sent you a message

Im not sure if i mentioned it or not, but most of the metal parts in this lot including the wheels were professionally glassbeaded with a military grade glass and a low pressure to protect the metal

To all that have inquired on the Shelby Fiberglass and assorted parts I have.

Due to the responses i have been getting on people needing this and that instead of the entire lot, to be fair, I have decided to list these items on Ebay as individual auctions; Hood, Nose, Nose support, Trunk Lid , End caps , Grill, Hub Caps, Hub cap / gas cap Decals, Wood shift knob, ..... (I may keep the headlight brackets, buckets, and bumper extentions for a future project since the are not original parts)
I plan on listing each item about 5 minutes apart , so if you decide to bid on more than one item, it can ben done easily. The auctions will start within the next few days.
I will reply to this post once again once the auctions have started and will include links to the auctions, I will also try to email or PM everyone directly that has replied or traded emails with me.

Thank you , and stay tuned

PS. The Kelsey Hayes Steel wheels have been sold locally to a Chrysler guy

I thought this was a place where people could sell and swap items with forum members. I did not realize it was for ebay auction advertisement. Shameful.

I have no need for Shelby parts at this time. Every once in a while I get a little disgusted at everyone seeming to just want to make a buck instead of actually being helpful to the old cars. Maybe I was in the wrong to say anything.

After getting insight and information , I originally wanted to sell the items here, but was getting overloaded with responses , and then decided to to play it fair and throw them on ebay so everyone would have a shot at them. Sorry if this thread never was supposed to be here.

Quoted : "Every once in a while I get a little disgusted at everyone seeming to just want to make a buck instead of actually being helpful to the old cars. "

I think i am being VERY VERY helpful to the old cars and to their owners too. Returning original shelby fiberglass, to an original shelby, Thats like finding Peter Framptons guitar and returning it to him, or stealing a lion from a zoo and returning it to Africa .... i think you get my drift.

I posted this here because I figured this would be a great place to find a person who ownes a real shelby and really needs authentic fiberglass.

I bought a Shelby clone, and it had original shelby fiberglass on it. This car was not worthy to have original shelby fiberglass so I converted the body back to a stock fastback. All I am trying to do is find people who need these parts to complete their cars, because i will never have a valid use for them.

This is my last post regarding these parts, if anyone would like to bid on anything there are all located here good luck if you decide to bid:
