Continuing to make progress. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. Just trying to find time to get to this a little bit at a time...

Cleaned up the old alternator and power steering pump. Painted the alternator (oh well - couldn't get the case the way I wanted it to look - will probably replace the alternator at some point). Power steering pump looks good with fresh semi-gloss black. Those are both ready to go back on now.

Installed the hose from the inner fender to the fuel pump. Put on the new fuel pump to carb line I bought - the bends aren't quite right and gets too close to the distributor - trying to decide if I want to go with the old one (cleaned up) instead.

Hope to get the carb on next - and old solenoid back on - then start on the wiring (new engine to gauge feed harness - old headlight harness).

I may take the carb with me to my July 4 picnic - I know some car guys will be there who can help me to make sure I have the choke set properly.

I have new heater hose on the way - and parts to refresh the heater (core, seals/foam kit).
