Thanks for the advice John I will be keeping it in mind for sure! I do need to keep a log book with timesheets and combos.

Now I have discovered a blown head gasket or possibly cracked heads that have been causing an overheating on the highway problem I have had for months. It seems the car will go under the knife once again...

That sounds like you have a great combo and are a good driver running a 7.80. My car is about 3100lbs but I am using a 4.11 and SMALL 235/60/14 bfg radial ta tires. They are far from ideal and it shows in my 2.17 60'. I am amazed at what a good 60' can produce. Just going from a 2.24 to a 2.17 has brought me from a 9.17 to a 9.05 or so.
