Hi all!
Can I come over and play?
A friend of mine, who I will not embarrass by mentioning his name here, is a member. I've recently been following his posts here and thought I'd become a member so that I could join in on all the fun.
My name is Roger and I used to own a 64 1/2 mustang coupe. My first car. Wish I still had it. I know. What was I thinking. Well I've had many fun cars and someday maybe I'll own another Vintage Mustang. Right now I'm tooling around in another vintage ride. Now don't make me stand in the corner, and have me yell out loud...what was I thinking!
There goes the neighborhood. Is that a British car? Say it ain't so. Yup, I've gone to the dark side. I did a nuts and bolts restoration of a 1964 Austin Healey.

Ok, enough about that.
Let's talk Mustangs!
I've enjoyed reading posts here, and really like this forum. I'm a member of a British Car Forum too. You guys are just as nice over here and a lot easier to understand. Anyone here speak Brit? Windscreen, petrol, wings, tyres, colour, boot, bonnet and fix our cars not with wrenches but spanners. Somebody stop me.
I live in San Leandro CA and drive my Healey everyday. I'm sure there are a lot of guys here who drive their vintage Mustangs everyday too. That is what it's all about, right?
OK, enough of the nice-a-tees. The other day I pulled up to a 68 Mustang Fastback, perfect in every way. We stopped next to each other at the light. As we were waiting for it to turn green, I leaned over and rolled down the passenger window. He watched me and I motioned for him to roll down his. I then looked him straight in his eyes and said in a very convincing mannor....I can take you! I can take you man! Then the silence as he looked at me. Then I said with a big smile...Just give me two blocks.
Cheers,
Roger
