Default Chassis

I realized that the old girl was getting on in years but I want the car to feel crisp and tight - so - seam welding and SubFrame connectors were the prescription to insure 100's of K-miles more to come.

First up - Acquisition of the Whirly-Jig. Commercial grade Rotisserie. I have my eye on a convertible job down the road - so I sprang for the high end rig.

Whily-Jig Pics

Getting the car onto the jig was a bit of fun. It took three tries. I have decided to not share the pics of try one. Suffice to say- I was a no - go....

I had to fabricate some basic brackets and I grabbed the car from the front and rear bumper mounts. Once I figured out how to balance it, all went smoothly and I was able to easily rotate the car to any position w/o feeling threatened by the tremendous potential energy gathered in the assembly.
