T5 ratio Question
Hey Guys, Im looking for a t5 for my 67. I found one for sale, but I want to be sure I get one with a good ratio to match my rear end. I honestly know nothing about transmission ratios. My rear end has 3.73 gears in it, and the t5 i found is a wc1352-162, which has a 3.97 first gear, 2.34 second, 1.48 third, 1.00 fourth, and .79 fifth. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what I should look for. My car has a mildly built 302, and I do like to have some "fun" in it, but its not a drag car either. Thanks in advance, Jp
