Many thanks Precision for giving me some hope. We're leaving for Austin, Tx, in a few days so the car is going to have to sit there for a week with the fluid mixture in the tranny. I've removed the radiator and when I get back, I'll focus on the tranny. Doggone, I wish I had a lift in the garage. Someone told me that for around $3000, I could get a lift as long as my garage was at least 9ft. high which it is. For what I just paid for hearing aids, 3K doesn't sound that bad although my wife doesn't agree.
