289 hipo exhaust manifold

Looking for a 289 HiPo exhaust manifold set. If you have swapped yours for headers, or do have a set to sell I would be very interested. Please contact me at josep_torres@mac.com or just PM me.

Thanks,

Josep

C6ZZGT I'm afraid I'm a bit far from there, in Spain, so can't attend swap meetings.

I have a set in good condition. They are currently on a car I purchased and I will be removing them shortly. Long story short, in July of 1964 a gentleman in California purchased a new D-Code 1964.5 Mustang. That same week, he went to the dealership and purchased a set of Hi-Po manifolds and then installed a dual exhaust system. A Shelby aluminum intake came a short time later, but otherwise the car is stock. The car has been kept is fantastic original condition over the years and today features only 25,986 original miles on it. After much debate, I have decided to un-do the original owners mods and put the car back to showroom stock. I was able to get the brand new / original exhaust manifolds with the car so I will be reinstalling those. I'll sell the original, over the counter Ford Hi-Po exhaust manifolds for $400. I understand that repops can be had for about a hundred bucks less.

Formerly RW1967GTA

The lifelong project:
1967 390 GTA Coupe
Ongoing rotation of Mustangs to hold me over until this car is done.

I bought a set of Scott Drake HiPo manifolds from Summit Racing a year ago. Unlike earlier poor fitting versions, these fit nicely. I did port match them. Price has gone way up as I only paid $220 for mine. Given your location these might be your best bet.

65 C Code hardtop from California still wearing it's original paint.

Thanks for the link mate, yes, I'm far away but anything I could buy will go to Texas, were I have my car stored now, at my friend's ranch.

I assume you mean "Right Hand" side?

I'm really not sure how that's going to be useful to anyone. I'm pretty sure you cant buY just a left handed manifold. And even if you could get the LH parts, doubling up on shipping would probably kill the deal
