I am looking to purchase a 1972 rw&b Sprint coupe mustang. I need to find a new Blue vinyl top to fit. I can only find white or black vinyl tops in catatlogs. If you have one or know where to find one holla' back.

If i were you I'd check with an upholstery shop, They are the ones that install or replace the Vinyl tops and you can check on some install prices as well. Just curious since the Sprints never came this way is it just personalizing here. I have a Sprint coupe Q code.

I don't know, you may be right,or maybe it was a dealer option or something. I am about to puchase the car and it has a blue top on it. My only problem is getting the right color of blue to match the paint. I don't really even know the paint shades of red/white/blue that were used. email me at jschalansky@kdhe.state.ks.us and I'll send you a photo of the car.

Can't help you on the top color, but the blue was grabber blue, the white was the regular 72 Mustang white...

Thanks Hemikiller. Blue was the color that was giving me trouble. Did you sell that green rag-top '73(?)? The more I read up on the sprint cars the more I am thinking it is an aftermarkert personal addition. BUt, I like the way it looks. I'll just take it to a upholstery shop. We have a pretty good one here in Topeka.
