Default 69 Shaker Hood

Just checking to see what might be out there in the way of original 69 Mustang factory shaker hood. Important to know location and price and condition. I am in Indiana so distance is definitely a factor. Might just cut a good hood if nothing close, Thanks

if it's a coupe I would be willing to sell my other one - it has some rust on the underside but nothing naval jelly cant take care of. If interested hit me back

I would get a nice standard hood, buy a template and cut your own as originals are very pricey and usually full of putty an repairs.

+1 to Bostang. I believe I have one, but its not in the best condition and would need significant repair.

My '70 shaker hood is a good example. It appears somebody welded in a patch at the front using a coat hangar and a car battery, then slapped a huge bondo patch on top.

Do you have to have an original Ford hood? I've seen some Ford tooling re-pops with the shaker pre-cut and they look pretty nice. I've heard they fit OK. And "OK" is often the case with original Ford hoods.

Retooled hoods are fine .Actually the last non-retooled ones ,I used ,worked out very well.
