Default Console for a 68 (testing the water)

Looking for a console to put in my 68.
Does not have to be perfect, as my car is far from perfect.
Testing the water here, not sure if I can justify the purchase on something that is basically just "eye candy".
I would like to see what's out there and for what price.
Please answer by PM
Thanks.
Mark

I agree it's eye candy and a good one is expensive eye candy that adds other costs and interferes with under dash work on the car!

Wild guess $200 for a rough one and up.

I put a little $25 hump hugger in my 68 vert. It has 2 cup holders and a pocket that's perfect resting place for the seat belt buckles.

For functionality get a hump hugger. The originals are beautiful (IMHO) and a distressed one will run around $250 but don't have cup holders and do get in the way of the dash if you do much work on your radio, heater, etc. as stated by Slim.

I agree..My car has one and they really don't serve much of a purpose other than holding the one set of seatbelts..

Just took a quick look on ebay. People have the "clever" name "fleabay". That's like saying magazine or paper ads are NG.

Anyhow quick example item 170954508795 $16.88 with free shipping!

Consoles for many of us are useless kinda like an upholstered space taking thing. This a cup holder, seat belt buckle, junk and coin holder.
