The C5ZF-C is specific to the '65 A code 289 engine with a 4 speed. I believe that the 4V carb for the '66 is a C6ZF with a 5th letter code depending on the transmission, etc.
FYI..about a year ago I sold my correct 66 Hipo carb from a 4 speed car with manual choke assy.. It was scrutinized by Pony carbs years ago and verified to be for real. The tag was C6ZF C..if that helps at all?
Correct as usual, it also did not have an electric choke. As of now it is on a car w/C4. Dashpot was added by the rebuilder, as was the choke. Both can be removed easily.
