WTB: Rocker Molding Panels 1967 NOS

Hi,
I'm looking for a pair of NOS Rocker Molding Panels 67.
Possibly incl. Clipses, Front Fender Clipses and studs, but not necessarily.
May be someone has them for sale...
Thx Ralf

If you change to good condition originals (non repo) there's a slim chance if you're patient! 67 and 68 same part.

Hi, yes, can be shipped, in a plastic tube for example. But not neccesarily needed. Have a colleague in Detroit, where the parts can be shipped to. From there to GER.
E-mail you.
Thx Ralf

Ralf, have you checked the NPD website?

They have a limited supply of Ford original left side only. 01077-2 $149.95.

010176-7-2B Burton bright aluminum repos as original avail late 2016. Best repos available.

010176-7-2C Burton custom stainless steel. Available late 2016.

LH NOS 67-68 rocker moldings are easy to find, and we've got plenty of them... But the RH's are getting rare as hen's teeth, and VERY pricey once you've located one. I wouldn't ship them overseas in anything less than a thick PVC drain-pipe.

We still don't have a firm ETA on the Burton moldings... This song and dance has been going on for years...

Our standard repro 67-68 moldings (Golden Legion) are actually pretty good!! A huge step up from the Corvex that most places are peddling..

If I was doing a 67/68 concurs resto I would put a NOS left molding and a repo right while
I continue the search for the near perfect right side molding.

The right side was often damaged by brail drivers. This was apparently not allowed for in service ("NOS") part production.

When I bought my 68 vert in 77 it was in beautiful condition. The right side rocker molding had been partly smashed. It was a someday project. Service parts were still available, no big deal!

I was in touch with Burton in May this year as well.
They anounced end of the year. Last week I asked again...answer: still a couple of monthes to go. Sing a song.....

@ Rick
To be honest, I'm not convinced about the quality NPD delivers, at least what I got on my radiator. Crincle black paint, horrible. And it seems that the top is poured/filled with something. Payed a huge amount of money for that part. I'm very disappointed. Really not what germans consider as high quality made in USA.
See my threat "what is the most correct radiator and fan shroud for my 67" (in Concours Forum) and the pictures.
If you promise me to send only rockers without any damages, scratches, bendings, than I would think about....Left side NOS, right side Golden Legion (if it matches...), or both sides GL.

Had a pair of Corvex in my hands bought from a german dealer, sent it back. Far to thin! Could imagine to see the clipses on the a-surface when assembled.

In the time being I'm still looking for a NOS pair, or really high quality rocker moldings.
Thx Ralf

Just trying to help. Take ot easy on Rick. He's one that actually works to get good stuff for us.

Corvex moldings whether rocker, grill or rear (maybe windshield) are known to be thin and flimsy. NOS/service were often returned at the dealer counter back when they were new issue. It's rare (IMO) that a commercial supplier inspects parts before shipping.

I'm not shilling for NPD just looked at their web site.

By the way can't speak for Germany. There is in fact bad and good stuff made in the USA.
Bad and good made in Taiwan.

Maybe someone here can examine parts before they ship to Germany.
