Default Buck Tag

At what stage of the build process is a bucktag installed to the firewall?
regards Darryl

What vehicle are we talking about here? The export Galaxie in your sig or a Mustang? as far as I know the Buck tags were not installed on the firewall on Mustangs-they were installed on the rh inner fender area only on cars from one plant I believe and that plants name/city escape me right now....

Hello everyone,
On 64 Ford Galaxie the BuckTag is screwed to the firewall in behind the fender.
The information that I have is that the body including firewall is painted in body colour, Then the firewall is then painted 70% gloss black.
So I'm trying to determine at what stage of the painting process it was installed

I do appreciate everyones time as I know this is a mustang site, but I can relate to the "search" of perfection.
Kind Regards Darryl.
