Where is the windshield washer pump located on a 65 coupe? I located the dimples for the resevoir bag, but I'm not sure where to mount the pump. My Mustang did not originally come with the windshield washer.

If you have pictures you could post here, I'd really appreciate it!

On the drivers side foward fender/engine compartment panel. If you have a 289 in it, practically opposite of the fuel pump. Look on the panel for two dimples. So, lower than the bag, and to the rear of the bag. Sorry, no photos.

And, I think you'll need to buy the correct wiper switch to make it all work.

Thanks, Roddster and 64NAHALF! I also see the dimples for the pump in the picture. I have the pump with three mounting brackets and one wire.

Yeah, the pump above was only used on the 66 2-speed wipers. All 65's had the pump you describe.

Same location, though. And the three dimples should be there.
