Can someone tell me why the 66 transmission cross member hardware kits I've seen online have two bolts, 2 nuts and only 1 washer? Also which side does the washer go on when assembled?
I've looked for diagrams that might detail where this washer goes, but I don't even know why the kits have just one. Two or four washers make better sense to me than one.
