Question 68 vert satin chrome visor brackets and header molding

68 vert owners have a list of parts that are 68 vert only. The header molding and visor brackets were changed to satin finish for safety...less glare.

AFAIK the satin chrome brackets are available from Scott Drake several Mustang parts suppliers supply them. I'm looking for info from anyone whose tried these. One person I know tried them said they required considerable massaging/grinding to fit. That's 0 for 1. I'm going to try them, they're the only act in town. Looking for encouragement!

The satin header molding also from Drake...so far no input.

Thanks for any input,
Slim
