I am selling one of my long block SCJ engines along with a bunch of parts.
This engine came out of a 70 Cyclone "J" code Drag pack car. It is currently disassembled for your detailed inspection, but is ready to assemble and run. Details are as follows.......
70 4 Bolt main DOVE-A block .30 over.
2YA internally balanced steel crank.
DOVE rods w/ ARP Rod bolts.
Forged "Speed Pro" pistons .30 over. L2404 9.5/1 compression ratio.
Motorsport cam.
Canton Anodized 10qt. oil pan.New in box.
Canton rear sump assy. New in box
Canton dipstick assy. New in box
Melling high volume oil pump assy. new in box.
Factory 429 SCJ oil pump assy.
Cloyes dbl. roller timing chain.
Edelbrock "Tru Roller" timing chain. New in box.
Weiand high volume Alum. water pump. New in box
Elec dist.
Factory SCJ Dual Point Dist.
Motorsport balancer
Factory SCJ Balancer.


DOVE-C heads ported to match intake.
2.09 intake, 1.66 exh.
Exh. ports ported with the hump removed.
Screw in studs.
Crane "Gold" 12-82 Roller Rockers.
D1OE-6A564-AA guide plates
Dual Valve Springs
Teflon Valve Seals.
Chrome Valve Covers

Offenhauser 12" tunnel Ram alum. intake.
Ported to match the heads.
Plummed for nitrous. NO2 lines and switches included.
2 Holley 500 cfm Matched carbs.

This engine is right and tight. It has never been blown up, repaired or welded on. Book rated at around 650hp. before the nitrous. Perfect for your pro street or street rod project. And as I stated earlier, it is currently disassembled for your inspection. It has been stored at the shop for a while, so it needs a good cleaning before assembly.
Asking $3500.00 for everything. (half of what I have invested into this beast)
