Default Detroit locker 31 spline never ran trade for ...

Detroit tru-trac 31 spline.

Hello, I have this DL that I bought from Summit last year, and ended up not using it so instead of selling it for a loss I would like to trade for a new Tru-trac if someone has one, and want a DL.

Pm me if you do..........thanks, Mike.

Just sell this one and buy the tru trac. You'd break even either way and have a better chance at doing what you want instead of trading.

I take it your doing more street driving then straight line racing? If so I agree with the swap.

Yes Monzy more of the twisty s fan than all out straight line fun.

I would sell it, but I would have to get very close to retail which if I got enough then it would be worth it, but then again.

I got this rear end in a complete, new, Currie rear setup. I went ahead then, and bought the Tru-trac, and swapped them out, but I also have another Mustang, that needs a good rear so I would like to go with the Tru-trac with it as well.

I would agree that its hard to be the Detroit locker for drag racing.

The detroit locker is good it the twisty also. It locks every time so the car acts the same always. To me their is nothing worse than haveing it lock one time and not the next. All the road course cars use them for this reason. On the street the locker will chatter if you accel into a corner but if you coast thru the corner it unlocks every time.
