1 - Is a Non-World Class has no tags....running condition according to the previous owner

1 - ...off the top of my head, this one is a World Class, with a tag of 1342-141 which is actually a 1987.....was rebuilt at one point and was removed from a mustang that was involved in a accident.

I will verify the World Class tag.

I bought the World Class originally, but it had no bellhousing. I then purchased the other transmission for the bellhousing and when I researched the bell housing numbers, it came up for a 1986 mustang.

I orginally planned for a 5.0 EFI w/T-5 in my 66, but am deciding to go the Modular route.

i can verify the one on on the left is a non world class 1983/1984...and your trans on the right is a world class. ez to tell, the one on the left has the hex bolt on the side, and the wc trans has a torx style bolt. Both are rated the same power rating, however the nwc has brass syncro's and won't have quite the same smooth shift as the one on the right. Good solid prices btw

"1342-141"

This is what what happens when your surfing through mustang forums during work....

The World Class transmission has a tag 1352-169..

I sandblasted the bellhousing and the Non-World Class transmission to clean it up.

This guy Factory Five Builder, High-Performance Ford Automotive Parts – Levy Racing like to buy T-5's ...I don't know what Gordon pays, but he's local to you. It may be worth reaching out.

here's a link from another forum I'm on where he's looking for broken ones

I called him....He won't buy Non-World Class...and will only pay up to $150 for a broken World Class T-5.

It wouldn't benefit me, since I have mine is working.

But Thanks for the information

The balance weight on the back side of the flywheel is different.

Post or send a pic or two.

I'll figure it out.
