Dang it. Only by a few seconds too. Nice car Nick. Good friend of mine here in town has a '93 Cobra. He drove it 300K miles before he changed the original plugs.

Patrick

So if foxes are vintage now does that mean we'll see a Mustang II section too?

Not that new sections are a bad things, but it seems like we're skipping a couple years.

No pics. My '95 is mostly not fox parts so it doesn't qualify.

Mr. Iaccoca gave us permission to skip the dark years.

Well you can't argue with the authority.

Though Rusty's thread over in the build section looks like there might be at least a little light in the darkness.

I had an 89. Still miss it. Maybe after I get done with the 70 and get the 69 I plan to get next that will be next on the list.

1970 Mach 1 M code
1990 5.0 LX Limited Edition

I keep noticing the DOT puts up signs to honor my burnouts. That's nice of them.

I have a '79 hatch, and my son has a '86 SVO that we changed to a Cobra clone (more details later) and a '93 Cobra that we are building into a serious open track car. That's all from me.

It just seems weird talking about Fox bodies here. Well I guess most of us owned one at some point. My first Mustang was a 85, 5.0, 5 speed dark blue LX hatchback with a red interior. Man do I miss that car. I'm sorry I ever sold it. Only 6000 LX came with the 5.0 in 85. I had a lot of good times, got stopped a lot of times by the man too. One of my favorite moments was beating a 70 454 Montego Carlo at Englishtown one Friday night at the test and tune. The guy came over to me to see what I was running.

Tom

I'm not a complete idiot, pieces are missing.

I've owned many a Mustang, but my heart is with the early classics or the Fox. The rest of them are just too damn big and aggressive looking, which detracts from the beautiful, timeless and understated lines on the '65-73 and Fox models.

Here's my Five Liter Beater, aka the Ghetto Stang, which is a true beater from 1989. 700 hp at the crank. Torn itself in half twice from torque!
