I've never watched them, but I remember commercials from back in the day, and I run into various articles about them on ScreenRant. And no creep factor, they both over 30 (mother is nearin' 50).

Isn't every woman older than 25 considered a Classic? That mother is definitely an Antique.

80 Muscort- "Wifebeater" (sorry if it offends. I didn't name it)
06 V6 Premium - "Hidalgo" (R.I.P. )
67 C-code Fastback - "Tombstone"

My Mustangs don't get chick names. They get horse names.

Age is just a number, if they hot, they hot, don't matter what number they have.

I am going to contact a new, different lawyer tomorrow.
This new lawyer has done work suing contractors for co-workers of my wife. He comes highly recommended, but we will see.
I will talk to this new lawyer and see were I stand. I have just been really busy lately. I have been trying to work my a$$ off making money so that this spring I can get this garage started and finished. Regardless of what happens with the old contractor.
I need 20K to fix the damage caused by the last contractor, and have a new foundation, pad, and new partial drive installed. Then around 17K more in lumber, and what not, to get the garage up.
It is hard, but I am doing my best.
I have not yet talked to the contractor this year. I needed to take a break from the stress of it all just for a bit.
So sorry to everyone that I haven't updated this thread.
I really needed a break from it for just a little while. I get upset, and angry when I discuss this too much.
Be patient with me. I will update this thread when there is some new news. Thanks.

UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE!

Just got an email today from the first lawyer I meet. The lawyer that wrote the letters for me. It appears this lawyer actually did have an officer of the court serve the contractor. YEAH!
This is the email I got today from the lawyers legal secretary and our family friend.

"Wanted to give you guys an update on this matter. We had to have Z (contractor) personally served as he was not accepting service via certified mail. Lawyer had a telephone conference with their attorney this morning and settlement negotiations are beginning. We have not billed for any services as of now (except for process server fees), however, as Lawyer had discussed with Joe, we will have to begin billing now. Lawyer wants copies of all the pictures Joe has of the work that Z (contractor) did at your house. Can you either have him drop off a disk to our office or email them to me?
Thank you."

I guess the lawyer found that they are worth going after, and he smells blood in the water.
I meet with the lawyer tomorrow.

This was great news today. I feel like I can breath better. Just the beginning.

glad to hear things are moving forward. i would have an open conversation about what you can do on your end to minimize the costs on your end from the lawyer. Buddy who got a divorce got billed a minimum of an hour for every email/phone call he made and wasnt aware till the bill came in. hopefully things move quickly for you and i wouldnt try to push for anything too crazy. the more realistic you are, the better your chances are of getting what you want. In your case i'd be happy with refund, removal of crap, and lawyer costs.

Good news. Hope it doesn't drag on too long and you can get back to building in the spring.
