Probably because you are reading the NYtimes. I am surprised they didn't report Trump Killed him. LOL.

I have the radio on all day in the shop. It runs constantly. Saturday I was in Myrtle Beach, had the radio on all day when in the vehicle. I watch Fox news, never heard anything. It just evaded me. Why no other post here before me? Usually guys here jump on singers who have died. Also, my wife , who gets stuck on Facebook for a few hours each day, never saw it either.

This insults me "Probably because you are reading the NYtimes."

Sorry. It was just a joke.
I didn't know Chuck Berry died until the day after. RIP. The music he gave us will be immortal.

Most people did not find out until the day after. I thought someone posted here but looked for it and must have been mistaken. BTW New York Times reported it on the 18th. Pete, you may have been really busy and missed it. Don't look for the news at VMF because it gets reported late unless mustang related lol. RIP to one of the fathers of Rock and Roll.

I knew it was a joke. I'm so far from the NYTimes, it isn't funny

I can't believe Facebook didn't have an article from someone that my wife would have at least seen. Anyone watching Sun Records on TV ?

One of my favorite parts of my favorite movies is when Back to the Future implies Marty changes the future by giving Chuck Berry his own song?

Quote:
‘Chuck, it’s your cousin Marvin Berry. You know that new sound you’re looking for? Listen to this.’
RIP Chuck.
