Guest: So a horse walks into a bar...
DrHawkeye: That premise is unreasonable. Barring an extremely abnormal event like a stampede a horse would prefer not to go into such a small opening and a bar doorway. And in the event of a stampede, the horse would be running, not walking.
Depends on the party. Had an hour long philosophical discussion about Bugs Bunny one time that was quite intense.
But there's a distinct difference from your imaginary horse and scientific facts of the seasons. Just keeping it real.
It was pushing close to 100* here last week, and as I type this at 11:31am, it's 78* outside with lots of wind. That's how I know it's spring here...lots of wind. My 1.5 year old trees are taking a beating right now, but they're hanging in there.

It was 94F here tody. It's been about 8-10 degrees over normal for the last month. Too dang hot already. Ughh, bodes bad things for this summer. We are right at the threshold for being in a drought too.
Spring has been here (northern hemisphere) since the Vernal Equinox on March 20, just like every year before. It will be here til Jun 21 when the Summer Solstice will take us into summer. The seasons have no bearing on the weather, only on the astronomical location of the sun. So, unless you are in the Southern Hemisphere, you are enjoying Spring.
