Im glad to be off today .
I transfered to "Structures" from the Crawler Transporters so now Im servicing the launch pads . They are busting rump to get the shuttle up again so Structures needed alot of OT to get it done and still do .
This was my first week away from the Transporters and I miss em
I put in 72 hours last week and Ive seen enough of the elevators at the pads for my own tastes

Ill enjoy it come payday but man it hits you hard .
I figure when the serious OT is done I will likely transfer back to the Crawlers since I like working on them much better than the pads .
In the next few weeks I should get some great photo's though .
Im going to record the launch and then try to transfer it to a avi or other web friendly format and post it somewhere . TV does nothing for the Shuttle launch

I took the tour of the Kennedy Space Center with my family when we were there last December. Very impressive place. I would love to be there when they launched a shuttle mission ::

I sat in the VIP section once and enjoyed one of the few night time launches :highfive:

Hopefully, my Space Station science rack will be on the Shuttle in the next year or two. I've been working on this project for 7 years now. When it does launch, I fully expect to be there to see it go up.

Wow a job, what is that? I had a job offer on Friday and they wanted me to start on Monday (tomorrow) :horror: it was like woah not sure if I am ready to go back just yet, then they made the money offer. Way too low, I could not afford to go back to work for that. So I will keep looking. :paranoid: fd
