Flank steak marinated, Asparagus marinated in olive oil, sea salt, garlic and pepper, Small red potatoes and Portabello Mushroom sauted in same sauce that the Asparagus was marinated in. Mustangdan65 gets the credit for the asparagus dish who turned Beach Pony and I onto it the othe day. Thanks Dan

Craig, how did you like the asparagus? I thought it was great. How did you do the garlic? That flank steak looks dee-lish! Did we have some cocktails too? All I got tonite was a chicken salad sandwich. A far cry from the cuisine you enjoyed.

The asparagus was a little over cooked only because I thought it would take longer than the flank steak.....WRONG! Next time listen to SWMBO! Otherwise everything was mucho perfecto.

Sorry Jeff, I didn't think I'd get done working on Red in time to BBQ, especially in the crazy weather we had yesterday.
Ron, that asparagus dish was great, though I overcooked it. Need to practice again this next weekend.

Did you use the garlic? If so how did you prepare it? I know you were worried about it being "hot" if it was raw.

No the garlic wasn't hot at all.
I just pressed 3-4 cloves and put it in a large ziploc bag along with the olive oil, sea salt, coarse pepper and the asparagus. Let it marinate for an hour or so while I was finishing up working on Red.

Could you imagine how many posts there would be if everyone made similar comments on every post and comment?
PS I picked up a pizza-pizza from you know who. Didn't feel like cooking today.

Sorry, but if you were following my example, you'd be able to count your off-topic posts using nothing but your fingers and maybe a couple of toes
