Default Taxes are done

Refunds are on the way.

A little late this year, but I guess 02/02 isn't too bad.

If my second employer would have sent my W2, I could have been done a week ago. Part time job, don't need it but they helped me out during the strike back in 07 so now I am a hired gun when they are busy.

Just wish they would mail my W2 so I could have fun to.

Taxes will be done tonight for me. Would have done it yesterday, but it was Sunday and the Superbowl was on.

We do the Church thing on Sunday and then sleep, watch TV, or just be together as a family.

Wouldn't it be nice to have that money all year instead of letting barney frank use it interest free?

I would do that, but I'm not nearly disciplined enough to properly track/estimate it so it works out that I owe nothing when the time comes. I'd much rather not be surprised with a huge tax bill.

I used to adjust W 4's every year to make it so I would owe a little. Since I've been self employed, they only get my money every quarter. I think if everyone paid 4 times a year out of their checking account, there would be a revolt like no one has ever seen.

Done mine a while back, already got my Federal return. As soon as MS would hurry up and get me the rest, it's car hunting season.

I adjusted my deductions when I was making much more and I rarely owed anything. I also rarely got a refund. Now I just report the actual number of deductions and get a modest refund.

Is everyone in the country using Turbo Tax right now...Their site is way bogged down....

Interesting that it's happening right when we get (stuck with) our new Treasury Secretary, who has a special place in the annuls of Turbo Tax!
Besides, what's the hurry about paying? This guy didn't pay and look what job he got? LOL

Stan, you are so funny....Their site is still bogged down....I could have filled out the forms by hand already. I wish I had the forms to do just that...

I've been doing taxes for so long it has become easy.

I just do what our new Treasury Sec does, Cheat!

Hehehehe...

Freaking turbotax........

I checked the mail on my way to the daughters basketball pratice and there is the final W2. Go to enter the numbers and turbotax is toast.

Looks like my refund will take another day. Wish I had not used them now, I would go fill out a different vendor's forms.
