Default White Elephant Gift Exchange 2009

It's time for the 7th Annual VMF White Elephant Gift Exchange! This is our Christmas gift exchange program, so please keep that in mind when selecting a gift. Like last year, the suggested gift value should be around $20. Remember, this is a white elephant gift exchange, so you don't have to go out and buy something. (If you want to buy something, that's OK too.) In the past some of the best gifts received were things people just had laying around the house!

Here's How It Works:

Send me a Private Message by November 30 saying you want to sign up. Be sure to include your:
  • Real Name
  • Mailing Address
  • Phone Number
Upon receipt of your PM I will respond with a confirmation message. On December 1 gift givers will be matched with recipients. I'll then send you a Private Message with the contact information of the person you are to send a gift to. You'll know who to send a gift, but not who is sending you one. Everyone is expected to give a gift and everyone should receive one. If you don't intend to send a gift, please don't sign up.

I'll be keeping a list of VMFers signed up for the exchange at the bottom of this post. If you don't see your friends listed, encourage them to sign up!

If you have any questions about the White Elephant Gift Exchange post them below, ask me via PM or IM and I'll update this post with the answers. Please don't send a gift that would offend or insult someone, especially since this gift may be opened with little kids around. Most importantly, have fun!

I thought so too but someone once told me that it was from a movie and it was actually "Flint". Well...good, I can use Flynn, then.

Waiting for a few stragglers to get back to me with the rest of their contact info. Once I have that I'll send out the partners.
