Default Visited Tucson

Man did I have a great time at a Raytheon conference in Tucson - first time I'd been there. Great eats and I highly recommend "El Charo", Mi Nidito", and a dive bar called "Che's Lounge" for anyone visiting.

Bring your appetite!

I certainly should have. We drove around in circles with our GPS trying to find the Mi Nidito because we couldn't spell it right. Don't know if I'm spelling it right now!

I'll drive the '65 instead of flying next time - there must be a good Friday night cruise in town somewhere? We can have gold Mustang solidarity...

What other good eats did we miss?

lots of little places to eat at in Tucson. Weather this time of year there is fine also.

I was there earlier this year and hit Charro.

Lil Abner's is another place to visit. I remember 25 years ago or so when it was out in the sticks all by itself.....

Now the town has grown up and engulfed it.

There are lots of good eating places around here, but you hit some of the good ones. I also like Macayo's, Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse, El Corral, and Chad's, to name a few.

So what is it like to have someone else doing the flying for you. What if they missed the airport you would have ended up in Mexico.

I'm a terrible passenger - I find no excitement in it, and am filled with boredom. Obviously other pilots are filled with boredom too and choose to browse the Internet rather than monitor the flight

Those guys are sooo done...

I can't stand riding in the back either. I have to go to Tucson Flight Safety next month, and luckily we get to fly our plane out, instead of airline, because it's getting some maintenence there

When we were out there last spring for the USC/UofA baseball series, we found some great pizza at Frog & Firkin on E. University BLVD., right next to the campus!
