So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself—nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance.
A Plymouth Superbird would be at the top of the list.

It would depend on what presented itself first:
60-62 Falcon Ranchero
Falcon Van or Pickup
65-69 Corvair, hard top or vert.
early 912 with the 5 spd
61-67 P1800
66 Charger
My old 53 Chevy truck
77 Olds Cutlass
68-72 Chevelle
If I had more money:
Lancia Aurelia B-20
C1/C2 Vette
Intermechannica Italia
And if I could find one, the truck made in Kansas I believe with the old Auburn front sheet metal. Now there's a find.

Like some of the other posts, I have a long laundry list of cars I'd like to have. Related to Mustangs, back in the day, I had a Mercury Capri RS and somewhere in the city where I lived, were two ASC McLaren Capri convertibles. I'd see one or the other mabe once a month at the bank or the post office or wherever and I've always wanted one since. By the time I got to where I could afford both a new car to drive and a classic car to play with, there were virtually none to be had and what were left were dogs. 68 Mustang is far more practical tho given the readily available parts. If I had anything as rare as the McLaren it would have to be a trailer queen for fear of damaging something irreplaceable.
If i hadn't bought my mustang before I saw this Model A Roadster for sale. I definitely would have bought it.
Still want one but one project at a time is enough. I also have a long list of cars I would love to have but the Model A is at the top followed by probably a first generation T-bird and then a Model T.

I had a red 71 Duster in high school and college. It had a 318 with a 3 speed on the floor. Power nothing. I really miss that car, and wished it looked as nice as the one in this photo. In my book, they are neat, fast cars and carried the coke bottle look to the extreme. Just about bought one when I finished the resto on the 65 coupe.
