If you didn't have your Mustang what classic would you have?
A couple of years before I bought my FB I almost bought an Edsel. It was pretty cool. Otherwise, I would have a 68 Firebird Sprint (I 230 6 cyl. with 4bbl).

Before. . .And after. . .
"Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway."
Almost bought a '55 Chevy but the owner wouldn't sell it.
My dad had talked me into a '56 Crown Victoria, but we couldn't find one.
Found a '66 GT 350H that had been rolled - really messed up, but it was all there - couldn't find another fastback for parts - plus nobody wanted the black and gold Shelbys back then.
Ended up with a '71 Mach 1.

My first mustang was a '66 coupe that I bought about 20 years ago. When I went looking for something to replace it I almost bought a '69 GTO. I have a feeling had I bought it instead of my '69 Mustang coupe I never would have become the mustang fan I am today. Since the purchase of my '69 I've had another '69 coupe, grande and my '01 Bullitt. Thank goodness the GTO cost more than my coupe.

I was once driving thought a TINY town in Louisiana and saw a 67 Firebird Sprint convertible pulling into a post office. I stopped to talk to the guy (my dad had a 326). It was a Firebird Sprint, vert, four speed, LOADED. AC, disc brakes, everything from the factory. He was the original owner and had restored it 3 times! It was his daily driver his entire life, and he would just drive it until it needed a complete tear down.
