Confused Looked at my GRAVE SITE !!

I went to the funeral of one of my employee's father.

When I was walking to the graveside service, I saw a headstone with my name on it. That caught my eye, as my name is not that common.

Then I saw he had been born in the same month and year as me. Not good.

Then the rest of it:

Captain, US Army (Last rank I had in the Army also)
US Army Rangers (I was/am a Ranger, and was with the 1/75th Ranger Battalion.)

I thought about taking a picture of it, but my wife would probably freak out.

Eerie.

I had never run into him the entire time I was in the Army, but it was still odd to see what could be on my stone already in a cemetary.

Always an eerie feeling. When I was younger I saw my full name on a quilt made to commemorate folks that had died from AIDS, and had a similar feeling.

I think thats very cool that you went to one of your employees fathers funeral. That meant a lot to him.

hmmm hard to say what's worse....finding another grave with someone it that had the same name...or going to a funeral for your Wife's grandfather and as a parting gift having your Wife's grandmother say "ohh by the way I bought 10 plots, these 2 over here are where you two are going to be buried.

Oh ya, that'd leave me with a creepy, eerie, not so warm and fuzzy feeling too.

Yikes Bob! Well... at least the grave wasn't open. There wasn't a "gardener" type guy standing there with a black hooded cloak was there?

wasn't there a movie based off of that very thing? Seems I remember he somehow tripped through a rip in another dimension of time. So are you going to get a plot there and make it even odder for the next Bob to stroll through there?

Wow, that is creepy!

I was with 2/75 back in the early 90's. Then I went to the dark side and became an officer

I've known a couple of Bobs over the years. You sure that isn't a very common name? I say take a pic of it and keep it to remind and motivate you to keep doing nice things like going to an employee's father's funeral. You never know when you'll be staring at the inside of a casket for the long haul, so mean something to someone while you are here.

have a picture taken with you standing next to it! The caption could read: "I wonder who is really down there?" :-)
