Default Sway Bar End Links

Any tricks to replacing these on my 2000 Explorer XLT V8 AWD? The left front one is broken away from the top. Many thanks -

Hmmm,..a big pair of channel lock pliers and wrestle with them? I have cut them in half with a cutoff wheel, then drive the bolt out of the remaining sleeve. The bolt obviously swells with rust inside that sleeve, anything to shorten it will help. The "might as well" while you are there, the other side probably won't last long!
