Default Motor City Motors?

Am I the only one who didn't like the new "Motor City Motors" reality show? It felt like a rip-off of American Chopper and Monster Garage with obvious attempts at contrived drama.

I don't know... maybe I'm getting jaded to these reality shows in my old age but I just didn't care for it.

I haven't even bothered. "Cops" is about the only reality show I can still abide. At least the stars of the show don't get rich off residuals and licensed hets, t-shirts, and various other crap.
There was once a short series about some east coast repo guys that was pretty decent. Somebody took that idea and ran with it until they thought up "Operation Repo". Which holds my number one spot for THE most contrived and hokey "reality" show so far. I don't even have to actually watch it anymore, just pause briefly on it while channel surfing. "Let's see what those morons are doing today. Yep, utterly contrived, next channel."
I have done some repo work here and there so I like to think I've got a fair idea of how things go. And the work I did NEVER went anything like their's.

American chopper is getting interesting now with lawyers walking into the building so JR can get his 20% share. mike is out of rehab and shaved.

next week SR starts ditching all the things that remind him of JR on JRs front lawn

and motor city motors is just awful.
