Juan Epstein of Welcome Back Kotter sadly passed away at 60...
Who else was a fan of that show? Along with:
Happy Days
Taxi
MASH
... All In The Family
Soap
Lavern and Shirley
Barney Miller
The Love Boat
Fantasy Island
Gilligans Island
The Little Rascals
The 3 Stooges
and up here we had "Creature Double Feature" on Saturday mornings
...where none of the words matched the mouths!
"there....Godzilla!" "OOOHAAAAAUNNGG"
Gunsmoke
Bonanza
Hogans Heroes
and our wives liked (and have probably seen each episode 10x)
The Brady Bunch
Little House on the Prairie
i grew up an lunenburg MA , i remember the creature double feature , use to love that along with kung fu . nothing like a mellow china man kicking the sheet out of bully cowboys that's just good tv !!
what was the flying turtles name "gamma" or something . i really liked him
How about the original Flash Gordon series. Now you know where Star Wars came from.
Highway Patrol
Honey West (because she drove a white 289 Cobra)
77 Sunset Strip
McHales Navy
Dragnet

Watched em all. Couple others I loved to watch were the Honeymooners and the Carol Burnette Show.

Wierd, years ago there were only about 6 stations to watch and they had a ton of good programs, now we have 250 stations and mostly crap.
Any way, some of the stuff I used to watch were,
Peter Gun
Wagon Train
77 Sunset strip
The Millionaire
Broken Arrow
Bat Masterson
Have Gun - Will Travel

"rollin' rollin' rollin' keep them doggies rollin' Rawhide" with Rowdy Yates (Clint Eastwood)
Bonanza
Sea Hunt (Loyd Bridges who is Jeff Bridges father for the now day crowd)
Someone already mentioned Highway Patrol.
I still like to see some of the older Twilight Zone episodes from back in the early to mid 60's. Lots of actors just starting out appeared, William Shatner etc.
Bummer. I'm wondering what brought about the demise of the actor who played Epstein. A coworker of mine, who happens to own a nice, red '68 Mustang convertible, grew up a few houses down from where "Epstein" grew up.
As for old TV shows, My Mother the Car? That show is considered by many to be the absolute worst ever put on network television. The best parts were when "Mom" backfired.
The Dukes of Hazard. Love it or hate it, It is what probably gave me my interest in old cars and hot rods. I still watch it every once in a while.
