Default How To Celebrate A Birthday

Well, sadly, today I turned 60 years old. Don't feel it, and don't think I look it. All that alcohol is a good preservative. So, to celebrate, I did five dives here in Mexico over the last two days. Yesterday, I did a solo dive to 102 feet. No dive buddy to save my butt, which didn't need saving. Came up to 80 feet and hit about a 5 knot current that almost yanked the regulator out of my mouth. Kept on shooting pictures while I did a rock crawl and eventually came out of it pretty much. Surfaced to see eight dolphins swimming around us. Now that's the way to celebrate!

I'm going to have more preservative tonight, probably while shooting pool.

Happy birthday Laurie! Drink one for the rest of us tonight. That should make you forget all about turning 29... Again.

Happy birthday Laurie, I celebrated my 51st a few days ago. Age truly is a state of mind, I don't feel any different today than I did 20 years ago...well most days anyway.

Okay, here are some pictures from this weekend. The sea lions are young pups, the fish playing peekaboo is a a puffer, and the last one is a Mexican Dancer nudibranch about 3 inches long.

Happy birthday! You took some great pics - I love underwater photography and wish I had the money for a real dive camera.

60's isn't so old! It's all in the mind. I look forward to the day when I turn 60... hopefully I'll spend the day out in the shop wrenching on some car or another, maybe even still Jane!
