Swap Meet Score !!
Went to the automotive swap meet in Grand Prairie (Dallas) this weekend, and I have a weakness for checking out tools in the discount boxes. Normally carry a list of what I need to upgrade sets or start a new set.
In a large batch of 25 cent tools, once got past all the India and Taiwan, there were a good supply of Craftsmas 1/2" drive sockets, shallow and deep.
But then, Ding Ding Ding, SnapOn sockets, all 1/2" drive. Pulled 36 sockets out of the boxes, showed them to the seller, and he said, since I got so many, how about $5?
SnapOn for about 15 cents each, yes, I can live with that. What I don't need, goes into the trading box for another swap meet.
