Default No brake lights or turn signals

I'm having a problem getting my turn signal's and brake lights to work. So far i've changed the turn signal cam, both flasher cans, changed all fuses, and checked all wires and i still can not find the problem. If anyone has any ideas i would appreciate them i have 2 weeks to fix this problem then i'm getting deployed.

It's a 69 mustang coupe. Don't know if that helps or not.

Go to AutoZone | Auto Parts & Accessories | Repair Guides & More. You will have to register and setup an account and then you can view wiring diagrams for a 1969 Mustang.

Your problem probably lies with the turn signal switch. The brake lamp circuit and hazard flasher circuit go through the turn signal switch. You will have to remove the steering wheel to gain access. Check each input and output through the switch for electrical power.

I've done all that and I found some melted wires so I cut and spliced that wire. When I turn on my emergency flashers every light in the car flashes and the wires going to the flasher can and in the steering wheel heat up. Also the lights flashing arent the right ones. Any other ideas?
