I guess they were willing to spend some money to own one of the ugliest cars ever made.

Well when you go to the local show you will be the only one with one of these. There are plenty of Mustangs, Camaros, Mopars etc.. but who has one of these? Not my cup of tea but we all have differnent tastes.

I think he got bid up and suckered in. Yes, pretty cool and unique but there's a limit.

I think that car has grown into something similar to a cult classic movie. It's so bad it popular just for that alone.

If it was a 360 car that could have justified the price.

Great- now every Gremlin owner will think theirs is worth 18k. It was bad enough when every mustang/camaro/etc owner thought they had a 30k car.

You know before I saw this I evaluated gremlins by the gas gauge (full= 25$, 1/2 tank 12.50, etc)

A young woman , in a Gremiln was back ended and also damaged in front, as she was stopped for a
traffic signal. She DID get whiplash and back injury. Worked with her and she was lucky
it wasn't worse. The "hitter" was a truck! Prior to accident, she "loved it " and thought
is was cool. Guys told her she should have a Pacer!!:SHOCKED" Car that is!! LOL!
