Anyone else watching this crap? Two cars and 10 minutes of commercials. Anothe dose of promotional stuff, Mothers car wash, Hagerty Insurance, two more cars and another round of commercials.
SHOW THE DAMN AUCTION GUYS....
Yes, I quit watching a long time ago. The commercials and banter are overwhelming. Next, it will be their female friends showing off their tattoos and dogs. Nothing against tattoos and dogs but--no more. John--Las Vegas
I DVR it so that way I can forward through the cars I don't care about, and the commercials.

Which Batmobile was it? Mrs. Klutch insists on watching NCIS, as usual.
The original #1 that Barris built and has never been sold before. The wife and I watched it go across the block. I took a wild guess that it would get 5 mil. I was close.
That Steve Davis looks like such a tool, strut'n around in his sunglasses!
I just figured he was always stoned & he didnt want anyone to see his bloodshot eyes.

If you can read this, thank a teacher. Since it's in English, thank a soldier
I don't understand that show. Why watch the show? Why not just scroll through a list of pictures after the fact that says what they sold for? It could be summed up in 1 page and 15 seconds of scanning.
As far as $500k cars what would ya do with it?? Can't drive the damm thing.
Mrs. Klutch often asks similar questions. "Why would anyone spend that much on a car? Why would anyone buy that many cars?"
Here's the deal, guys. The BJ auctions are mostly for wealthy collectors and rich guys who want to buy toys. If you've already got a whole herd of Mustangs in your climate-controlled facility, you're willing to pay big bucks for a one-a-kind car that nobody else has. That's what collectors do.
If you're a billionaire, paying 1.8 million for a car is no big deal. And if you want a really cool car collection, you're willing to pony up for those rare ponies.
I always like to paraphrase F. Scott Fitzgerald on this topic: You see, the thing about the rich is they're not like you and me.
I did a little googling on that topic. A medical condition has never been confirmed. More of an urben myth.
From your 2 posts, let me guess. . .you're from the "Anti-Steve Davis Group"? LOL

ya some people just like to look at em.. I want to DRIVE them. Have had "fleets " of cars over the years. Wife would always add her "opinion" "How many cars do you need, You can only drive one". Took me years to understand what she was saying Damm can't spell anymore.

I like watching Barrett-Jackson. I don't really sit and just watch it, but I have it on in the background while I'm working, reading, or working out, and then pay attention when something catches my eye. I don't really care what the cars sell for, although I prefer watching the less expensive cars roll across the block earlier in the week.
I think Steve Magnante and Mike Joy do a really nice job talking about auto history and features specific to certain cars. That's really why I tune in. Plus I see cars I never knew existed. I could really do without Justin Bell though.
