I've seen it but never joined,..I've got a crapload of assualt weapons that I was gonna sell, bought them right before the last assualt weapons ban, 1994-ish? Prices skyrocketed, but then fell a little when the ban expired,....
Desert Eagle 50
Tec 9
AK
SKS
Mini 14
Mini 30
Marlin Camp 9
Sawed off scatter gun
Ruger 9, 40, 45
and a sheetload of 15 round and 30 round magazines
Few others but I haven't look in a while, new in box never been fired,..strictly investments, bought whatever I could grab.
Looks like I'll keep them now that they'll be banned again VERY soon
Just a matter of time and prices will skyrocket again,...thats how we plan on finishing this Rustang

Never seen it, but just visited and compared some prices.....doesn't seem like anything special. The price I just paid for a handgun were dead on what was on the auction site and I didn't have to deal with the $50 transfer fee and shipping plus I started a relationship with a local dealer that will go much farther than dealing with the internet. Prices on mags and ammo didn't seem any cheaper either.

Better keep 'em, along with a good supply of ammo. You never know when you might need them.

I bought a couple of rifles from there a few years ago. Pretty safe and easy. If you buy, make sure you have a FFL dealer lined up on your end to receive the weapons. I can't remember all the things you need to do, but the most important was getting the seller and your FFL dealer talking. If I remember right, it cost me an FFL charge from the seller, shipping, and and FFL charge from the dealer the weapon was shipped to. Lots of fees, but I got the rifles at a price that made it worth the cost.

Uhm- have you seen what prices have done in the last 45 days? Stuff around here is 2.5-3x orig cost. (700$ Bushmasters-2k, 30 rd clip that was 15$ is 75-100, 223 ammo was 35-50 cent/rd, now 1$/rd) and all of these are IF you can find them. I am kinda thinking there peaking now (or now till O signs the ban), then maybe taper back a little (until the effective date of the ban), then creep back towards current. Personal guess- but I think fear is the primary driving force right know- so when we see what is gonna get banned maybe less fear, but eventually a ban will cause a slow rise due to loss of supply.

It won't be slow, lots guys are still on the fence, once the ban is set in motion, they'll have to get off the fence if they want anything.
Pre 94, AK were going for $150 at any show you went to, they jumped up to $300 super quick once guys realized that it was now or never. No reason whatsoever for prices to creep down once the ban goes into effect, those who have something will be able set the asking price. if you want the gun this is what it'll cost you,..period!

I bought and sold stuff on gunbroker before...mostly good experiences, however I've found that my idea of LNIB is different than every seller I've ever bought from.
auctionarms, gunsamerica, and armslist are great for purchases too.
My suggestion though is to use those sites to find a sale in the same state as you so you can see/touch and buy FTF....
