Your Favorite (non-Mustang) Convertible?

Any year, any make, any (non-Mustang) model.

In high school my best friend had a 67 vert bird...Spent a LOT of time in that car chasing tail.

I'm partial to two different cars....1970 Cuda - doesn't have to be a Hemi - but I've always have loved those body lines..and..1970 Firebird - non-vert - had a plain jane 350/auto several years ago that I let my son drive during his HS years...Seemed liked I was always replacing the BFG TA's on that car (yeah I had something to do with it too)!!

Which of the non-Mustangs did you like the best?

Probably either a '46 Ford or '53 Buick/Skylark.

Crap...I need to add a 55-56 Ford or T-Bird. That's four total. I can't narrow it down any further.

I would have to say, 1967 AC Cobra, then a 1970 Cuda.

1967 Pontiac GTO. I just saw a beautiful one in a driveway ten minutes ago. It was a deep blue with a black top.

As a young man,one of my first cars was a 1951 Ford convertible, with a 85 or 100 hp flathead engine, that absolutely would not die! It just ran and ran, eventually I sold it for $500 and a case of beer.

Sorry- i start remembering the cars ive had and to be truthful i was never in love with any particular one but the one i put the most miles on was the 72 spitfire when i had to comute from norwalk ct to sterling forest ny daily. It was interstate all the way with no major traffic tieups inbetween. The first comute after buying from an international truck dealership in wilton ct it started sputtering about 40 miles from home but managed to limp home, some but-hle had stuffed cardboard in the gas tank. It seems every used car i acquire has a tale to go with it. wes
