So when you shove the fender as inboard as you can. the fender never makes contact with the cowl at the top? Can you show a pic? restoresmustangs@gmail.com

    Hey Petes!!
Hope all is well. My project is coming a long slowly, wife keeps pulling me left and right.

A while back I replaced both upper and lower cowlings (1967 Mustang). When I installed the new ones I used a one piece export brace to help line everything up. Once I got everything lined up I welded the upper cowling to the lower cowling. A couple of days ago I hung the front fenders on the car. The right side looks great, lines up perfectly with the cowling. However the left side has a rather large gap where the fender meets the cowling (large 1/8" to 3/16"). I am new to body work and just don't know what needs to be done. The right side is fine but the left is not so I can't image I need to remove the upper cowling (GOD I HOPE NOT) and re position it as it didn't really have much room to adjust.

Have you run into an issue with this new metal? Only thing I can think of doing is when it comes to bondo time, to add some filler to the cowling to "widen" it a bit.

Hi Pete. Looks like I'm gonna need another 3-row radiator. My plumbing skills turned out to be on the negative side. I got off the ark with Noah (nice guy), so I still don't have PayPal. I need a 3-row for a 351W. I can give you CC over the phone or mail you one of those ancient pieces of paper (check). Cel # is 781-500-9799. Peace, Frank... P.S., You get any trophies for that Tasca 390 GT FB yet?

If you spray it with MS silver primer, then go about normal painting, nothing wrong with that.

Hey Pete. Any reason not to hit the underside of a turn signal hood with master series?

    Pete,

Thank you for the information on my parking lights.

I'll start probing around and see if I can diagnose what's going on here. I was hoping it was a ground issue. Now for the fun part.

    Thank you,

    John

Hi Pete. I would like to get a set of your 68 twin tip tail pipes tips. I would like to leave my credit card and Paypal alone though. Could I mail you a money order? If so, will need to know who to make it out to, address, and amount. Thanks, Dave
