Hi Kelly, I have not fixed all my Unisteer issues. When I had the car aligned, the alignment guy (who has experience with Rack & Pinion conversions) told me that he could barely move the tires by hand and that wasn't "normal". I still have not correctly phased my steering shaft u-joints because I've been enjoying driving the car too much. When I turn the wheel at a certain point I feel something that isn't smooth. It's hard to describe. I can't say it is binding, but it could be. I still have a leak from the pump. It's not bad but it is annoying. I plan to call tech support at Unisteer and get some direction from them. I know others have done this conversion without any of these issues. Please let me know if you get yours sorted out! Thanks Brian
Hi GTA, I was wondering if you got your Unisteer issue fixed up (I know it's been a couple months). I'm trying to look around the forum to find all the people with Unisteer to see how their setup acts. When I raise my car off the ground, I can't turn the tires with my hands at all and that's kind of concerning to me. Didn't you have this issue? What was the fix?
