Hi, don;t know if you remember but long ago you sent me some phots of a 65 or 66 convertible well liner, rod and spring. I am still (yes, it is taking ages...) working on my convertible book. I sometimes regret starting as it has spun out into a massive effort....
In any case, back to the point, I am trying to figure out how the 65/66 well liner goes in. From the FAM it apper to be a two piece item? One at the area behind the seat, then a second lower that laps over and screws down, the FAm drawing is really hard to interpret...
It also appears there is no cardborad shield between the liner and the trunk, 67 change.
Last one do you know the rods dimensions ( know somone posted it long ago but i've not noted it in the text)
If you have any photos or can explain how it goes together it would be very helpful.
Ok.. I really missed this message... I'm just reading this today 05/27/10.. i knew about the Waterford Lakes show...but I did'nt go.. I went to the Jacksonville show last month. I am a member of the Space Coast Mustang show, and we have a huge show every November..at Palm Bat Ford..definately worth going.. Other than that, I do "Oldtown" in Kissimmee, FL, and Silver Springs in Ocala every January.. The weather here is really nice...Much better than MI... MI has nice lakes though..and Mustang #1 in the Henry Ford Museum! Thanks, Tony K.
Hey Tony! Are you going to the MFMC show at Waterford Lakes Feb. 20? I am Wintering in FL - brought my '65 K code convert down. If you get there, look me up. My car is a white ragtop w/red interior and automatic, MI plates.
My wife's aunt lives near Melbourne - we'll probably be visiting her sometime over the next three months. Maybe we can get together sometime.
regards,
