I noticed you're online and I'd like to ask some questions. I have an A code 67 Mustang with a C-4. It started to slip a great deal a couple of years ago and I took it off the road. Before that, when I'd store it, it would leak out almost all it's fluid. At one point I filled it with a non-F type fluid. After I did that is when I had the slipping problem most pronounced. I then flushed and filled with F-type and added Lucas Trans additive. Could the torque converter leaking and causing the slipping? I can't afford a rebuild right now, but would like to get an educated guess on this.
